Work philosophy: Your corporate culture is the most important asset your company has. It is not just pleasant words you put up on a wall. Your corporate culture is how you behave, whether or not someone is looking.
How do you stay motivated: I realize how very fortunate I am. I am motivated to pass along my accumulated wisdom to others so they can avoid my mistakes and simply make their own.
Guiding principle: Enjoy what you do, and who you do it with.
Goal yet to be achieved: Raising two grown-up children who actively contribute their talents to society.
Best decision: Starting my own business at 28 years old - the beauty of starting something young is that you don't have anything to lose that would cause you to hesitate.
Worst decision: Not listening to my gut. That gets me every time.
Definition of leadership: Leadership in my book stems from leading by example, nurturing employees, publicly thanking team members, stepping in to solve problems when they arise, and always putting the big picture before personal interests.
Biggest missed opportunity: Having a taller father! ;)

Like best about job: Watching the next generation of leaders amass new skills that will serve them well as leaders.
