Katherine Maiorana

Katherine is an experienced communications professional with experience in B2B and B2C marketing communications, public relations, employee communications, thought leadership, reputation management, collateral development and production. In her role with Sachs Media Group, she leads the agency’s new business development efforts and special initiatives as well as select client accounts.

Prior to joining Sachs, Katherine worked for leading hospitality group, The Alinea Group. Before Alinea, she served as chief of staff to the president and CEO of Adatlem (previously DeVry Education Group), where she led and managed strategic initiatives and special projects to advance the organization’s strategic priorities. She also held the role of director of Public Affairs, where she helped develop and implement communication strategies to engage stakeholders.

Prior to joining DeVry Group, Katherine was the senior vice president of Marketing and Business Development for Golin, a global public relations and communications firm with 45 offices and 1,000 professionals. In this role, she led the agency’s marketing activities, including brand management, advertising, media relations, thought leadership, and external and internal communications. She was also responsible for managing the agency’s business development efforts. During her tenure at Golin, Katherine received several marketing and communications awards, including a 2012 Silver SABRE, (Agency Marketing), 2012 Silver SABRE Certificate of Excellence (Agency Website) and a 2010 Bronze SABRE Certificate of Excellence (Employee Program).

Before Golin, Katherine served in various leadership and management positions for a wide array of companies, including Quarasan; Boston Consulting Group; Schwarzkopf USA; NYNEX; and the Florida State Lottery.

Katherine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Florida State University and her MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
